    The Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) is dedicated to promoting the market expansion of Malaysian palm oil and its products. MPOC aims to enhance the image of palm oil and create better acceptance of it by spreading awareness about its technological, economic, and environmental advantages. The organization aims to improve trade opportunities by identifying and meeting the latest market trends and to encourage product diversification by using Malaysian palm oil as a key ingredient. MPOC also strives to enhance understanding of palm oil and clarify its strengths and benefits. Additionally, MPOC works to address the perception issues and allegations surrounding palm oil and uphold its good name as the most dominant vegetable oil in terms of market coverage, nutritional benefits, environmental sustainability, and commercial success.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role as a Social Media Specialist at Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) located in Petaling Jaya. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for executing social media marketing strategies, creating engaging content for social media platforms, managing digital marketing campaigns, and implementing communication strategies to promote Malaysian palm oil. The Social Media Specialist will also collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing initiatives.

    Qualifications
    • Social Media and Digital Marketing skills
    • Content Creation skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to develop and execute effective social media strategies
    • Knowledge of social media platforms and trends
    • Experience in the agriculture, agricommodity, or food industry is a plus
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
