- A top performer with a history of tangible results in previous roles, with a rich business experience in the 1-2 therapeutic areas
- With previous line management experience, you are confident in coaching and mentoring others to get the best results from your team.
- You have a comprehensive understanding of the development and commercialisation of pharmaceutical products in Malaysia and/or emerging markets and possess the experience and exposure to lead new product launches effectively and profitably.
- You have previous experience in managing relationships and collaborations with key decision makers in the local health care system, government agencies, regulatory bodies and the patient community.
- Your education background is in science and/or commerce, preferably with an MBA from a top university.

As the Head of Oncology Business Unit, you have primary responsibility for sales and marketing involving planning, directing and controlling the development and profitable operation of the company consistent with corporate guidelines.
The portfolio not only includes current products, but also new product introduction and new channels and lines expansion. The role includes accountability for the short-term performance and long-term business success, execution, implementation and achievement of AstraZeneca's business goals in the specific therapeutic area. Working closely with the Country President and the leadership team, you will be accountable for formulating all strategic goals in relation to the current and new product portfolio to ensure they are successful and provide a strong platform for continued growth
