    Purpose of the position

    Responsible for preparation, coordination, execution and monitoring of launch plan which include analyses of market situation, risks and opportunities, promotional strategies & projects, sales forecasts, and market share objectives to achieve revenue targets and deliver value to customers.

    Upon commercial approval, approves sales strategies for the product(s) and ensures that brand strategic direction is followed. Develops tactical plans and coach Patient Value Partners (PVPs) to create key account plans for their territories which should be consistent and compliment the Strategic Brand Plan.

    Responsibilities

    • annual strategic brand plan, execute brand strategies, monitor and track KPIs (sales achievement, market share, adoption ladder, brand health etc).
    • launch plan, launch readiness reviews and post-launch plan.
    • and map therapeutic area with a multi-disciplinary focus (patient journey, patient organizations, patient support programs, health care infrastructure, commercial landscape, etc).
    • gaps and barriers that exist in the patient journey; work collaboratively (internally & externally) to develop and implement a strategic plan to address challenges.
    • in-field capabilities through coaching based on selling model.
    • Patient Value Partners in the development and regular review of Key Account Management Plans.

    • impact and effectiveness strategies & tactics and bring recommendations for adjustments/adaptations based on customers' insights.
    • understand, and communicate competitive intelligence and actionable insights internally that will inform ongoing strategic planning.
    • with Market Access to ensure the proper patient access initiatives are in place.
    • collaborate with all functions in the affiliate to exchange insights (Market Access, Medical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence). Establish and coordinate the cross-functional tactical plan of action.
    • scientific relationships with HCPs in accordance with annual Segmentation & Targeting exercise.
    • strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, through joint working initiatives that deliver patient benefit.
    • with KEEs & HCPs on important initiatives including commercial advisory boards, medical education opportunities, trainings, and speaker development programs.
    • as scientific peer-to-peer resource to external disease experts and internal stakeholders.
    • the medical community with up-to-date medical information, clinical insights, robust disease expertise, and product information.
    • a trusted partner, and effective project management to support the therapeutic area.
    • quality and work within ethical guidelines set by corporate. Implements and directs marketing and sales policies and procedures to ensure Compliance Code and Company Policies are followed by Astellas Pharma.
    • with Business Unit Head on the planning, coordination, and execution of other assigned special projects.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor' Degree in any Science discipline.
    • 5+ years in ethical pharmaceutical industry.
    • in Oncology product is preferred.
    • Innovative and patient driven mindset.
    • commercial experience with a strong performance track record.
    • strong in strategic thinking and operational leadership; sales/marketing experience with a successful track record.
