    Description

    Your Role:

    As a Senior Medical Sales & Solutions Specialist at Essilor (M) Sdn Bhd, you'll lead business development for Essilor Instruments in the Hospitals & Clinics line. Your focus extends to optimizing product application across the Optical & Medical Line, crucial for our customer group's growth.

    Responsibilities:

    • Contributing to the formulation and implementation of the customer groupâs strategy.
    • Identifying, evaluating, and executing internal and external growth opportunities while managing the sales funnel.
    • Supporting & integrating product application insights to enhance customer experience and satisfaction in both Optical & Medical Line.
    • Leading and managing strategic projects to drive business development.
    • Developing in-depth knowledge of the corresponding markets, customer base, and competitor landscape.
    • Staying abreast of the latest developments, innovations, and trends within the industry.
    • Spearheading market intelligence efforts and monitoring the competitive landscape.
    • Serving as the primary point of contact for all business development activities and providing functional expertise.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Bachelorâs degree in Optometry.
    • Minimum of 2 yearsâ experience in the optical or optical instruments field.
    • Experience within the Medical Instrument Industry is a plus
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both private and public forums.
    • Willingness to travel most of the time to customer sites for demonstrations, seminars, trainings, and meetings.
    • Strong proficiency in ophthalmic equipment product knowledge is highly preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability in consultative, conceptual, and negotiation skills to establish influential relationships with customers.
    • General understanding of the anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the eye.
    • Outstanding interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently.
    • Strong organizational skills with proficiency in written and verbal communication.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to thrive in a competitive environment and influence situations and people effectively.
    • Fluent communication in mandarin is necessary for business purposes/context.
