    Description

    We are seeking an experienced and creative Content Writer to join our fintech firm. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in content management, preferably within the fintech/brokerage industry, and possess excellent written and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. As the Content Writer, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy to engage our target audience, build brand awareness, and drive customer acquisition and retention.

    Responsibilities

    Content Strategy Development:

    • Develop and localising content strategy aligned with the company's marketing objectives, target audience, and brand voice.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
    • Create a content calendar outlining topics, formats, and distribution channels for content production.

    Content Creation and Management:

    • Create engaging and informative content across various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email newsletters, educational materials, and marketing collateral.
    • Write compelling articles, blog posts, guides, and whitepapers on trading, market analysis, investment strategies, and related topics.
    • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and external contributors to gather insights and generate valuable content.
    • Edit, proofread, and optimise content for SEO, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

    Multilingual Content Creation:

    • Produce high-quality content in both English and Bahasa Malaysia to cater to our diverse customer base.
    • Translate and localise content to maintain consistency and cultural relevance across different languages.

    Content Distribution and Promotion:

    • Develop and implement strategies to distribute and promote content effectively, including social media channels, email marketing campaigns, industry forums, and partnerships.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage SEO best practices and optimise content for search engine visibility.
    • Monitor content performance and engagement metrics, making data-driven adjustments to maximise reach and impact.

    Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure all content complies with relevant industry regulations, including adherence to financial services guidelines.
    • Stay informed about regulatory changes and update content as required to maintain compliance.

    Collaboration and Coordination:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and compliance, to align content initiatives with broader business objectives.
    • Coordinate content production schedules, deadlines, and approvals.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in content management, preferably within the fintech/brokerage industry.
    • Exceptional command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Strong understanding of trading/investing, financial markets, and investment concepts.
    • Proven experience in developing and executing content strategies across various digital platforms.
    • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
    • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), project management tools and analytics platforms.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
