The Gas Turbine Technical Site Lead's Day starts either in an office environment, on-site or in a tooling facility. You will be reviewing project plans, outage scope, tools, and requirements of our service projects across the Region Asia-Pacific and provide relevant instructions and guidance to Project Management, Planning Team and Tooling Facility on feasibility, durations, required workforce, tools, infrastructure and spare parts. You will work with stakeholders to prepare the outage, also in collaboration with our Head Quarter in Germany engaging in planning meetings, site assessments, spare parts recommendations and other preparations activities. During on-site execution the you will lead function for outage execution for the Siemens Energy team and SE's subcontractors communicating with customer and other stakeholders ensuring all project achievement are met. Throughout the day, the Site Lead engages with his team to coordinate tasks, resolve technical issues, and ensure that all activities align with the overall project timeline and objectives.
Aside from on-site activities, the GT Site Lead may be involved in research and development activities to explore new techniques, or technologies to improve efficiency, quality, HSE in his area of expertise. He will be working closely with the local management team and relevant Head Quarter departments on training, maintenance and execution strategies keeping safety and quality as the main drivers throughout.
How You'll Make an Impact
·Implement sophisticated service CCPP outages in AP in the role of either GT Technical Site Lead for 2000E, 4000F, 8000H, 9000HL or Outage Manager for CCPP Power Trains incl. Steam Turbines and Generators in line with Siemens Energy's and international industry standards and requirements regarding HSE, quality, customer satisfaction, consistency to process, cost, duration.
·Follow technological standards and collaborate with international teams off- and on-site to facilitate "upload and download" of local/regional/global best approach
·Perform documentation of disassembly and re-assembly test results within check/test sheets and ensure timely documentation in relevant protocols, data sheets and field reports according to standard and requirements.
·Maintain excellent customer, project team and on-site communication and to meet relevant project achievement
·Ensure works carried out by personnel on site are in accordance with the required HSE standards and the safety and health of sub-contractors and peers is looked after.
·Provide active guidance in internal resource planning, local and global subcontractor development and capability management as required for own outages.
·Actively engage in outage preparation of service activities and give guidance for successful outage execution.
·Provide relevant and timely feedback towards improvements of technological processes and tools, supporting modernization and further development of tooling and equipment landscape of FS AP MY and follow up on implementation of such improvements.
·Actively drive the implementation of FS digitalization and modernization paperless outage, data driven maintenance, capability based optimized resource allocation.
·Supervise, implement and/or support any other given task during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance equipment as per cross-training and multiskilling concept of Field Service in AP and relevant capabilities
What You Bring
·Field Service supervisor/ Senior Supervisor or Site Manager with at least 10 years of experience in leading mechanical maintenance activities on Gas Turbines. Knowledge of Siemens Energy Gas Turbine frames 2000E, 4000F or 8000H and/or relevant standards and procedures in an OEM-service environment will be considered an advantage.
·Extensive relevant planning and on-site implementation expertise out of Field Service or Project Management organizations, experienced Field Service Supervisors with profound experience in Steam Turbine mechanical Maintenance and/or Generator Maintenance with extensive expertise in mechanical service execution obtained through hands-on work and willing to develop into leading Gas Turbine service activities are encourage to apply.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving competence with focus on balanced, pragmatic hands-on solutions based on profound technical knowledge and experience, an affinity to new technology and innovation and the willingness to fast-track if required.
·Excellent understanding of relevant HSE, quality and project management standards related to an On-site service execution environment paired with the ability to empower and lead a diverse and multinational team of specialists and implement innovative best-in-class solutions in an exciting environment.
·High level of intrinsic motivation, resilience, and personal engagement to achieve general, organizational and project specific targets.
·Understanding of different contractual constellations, local laws and their successful transformation into service execution based on project agreement.
·Consistent track record of pro-actively embracing, building, and handling excellent long-term customer and subcontractor relationships.
·Confident user of relevant standard IT-applications (Microsoft Office) with ability to swiftly engage with new IT-systems, environments, and databases.
·Pro-actively co-creating successful and innovative outage concepts during outage planning with partners.
·Effective communication skill and respectfully address problems in a sophisticated international environment (Fluent English written and oral are compulsory, other languages are additional advantages).
·Willing to travel extensively internationally and work flexible hours on demand.
