    Description
    Position Overview:

    The position will report to Senior Manager, Supply Chain & Distribution, working closely with suppliers/ counterparts, production & sales with & within the internal company. The candidate will be expected to hands on to drive cross-functional initiatives along with local teams & counterparts to ensure the upstream & downstream supply chain activities are achieved based on the planned timeline.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Supply Chain Management:
    • Manage upstream and downstream supply chain activities to ensure timely order placement with suppliers/ counterparts.
    • Engage in effective planning based on demands and forecasts, optimizing inventory levels and production planning.
    • Ensuring the goods are arrived & delivered to the destination based on the planned schedule
    • Good communication & rapport with suppliers/ counterparts/ various departments to implement & execuate supply chain plans & actions effectively.
    • Well manage & analytical thinking on monitoring the inventories level for inventories replenishment
    • Coordinate with the manufacturing plant to optimize the production lead time from the semi-finished goods converted to finished goods.
    • Issuing purchase order for inventories & maintainence items for import shipment.
    • Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct superior as needed.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
    • Minimum 2-3 years working experience in automotive industry (E.g. Logistics, Supply Chain, Car Flow etc).
    • Analytical thinking & sensitivity on numbers & information in automotive markets
    • Good computer skills i.e. Microsoft 365, ERP, Oracle system
    • Able to speak and write in Mandarin (in need to liaise with China customer)
