    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure efficient and effective operational structures, policies, processes, system and

    technologies are in place to maximise cost efficiency.
    • Oversee the establishment of processes to support new products and services launched

    by the Bank.
    • Sponsor the implementation of key talent initiatives in the Securities Division, including

    building Affin Hwang's employer brand, developing talent capability, reinforcing a

    performance culture and fostering the Group's core values.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, Affin Hwang's policies and

    procedures, including establishing and maintaining robust operating controls.
    • Represent Securities Operations to external constituencies

    Minimum Job Requirements

    • Bachelor degree and/or professional qualification in a relevant discipline
    • 10 or more years of relevant experience at an established financial institution, with at least

    5 years in a senior leadership role
    • Proven track record of meeting progressive performance targets
    • Sound understanding of regulations, and deep industry and market knowledge with a

    proven record of translating this into effective business strategies to grow the business
    • Extensive business network and well regarded in the financial services community

    domestically and regionally
    • Strong leadership skills in building a high-performing organisation and collaborative

    culture
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of

    stakeholders and employees
    • Strong cultural sensitivity to manage relationships with people from diverse cultures
    • Innovative, entrepreneurial, and a self-starter
