    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The Key Account Manager will play a crucial role in managing and nurturing relationships with our key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and driving value for both the client and the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and an ability to execute on tasks in an efficient manner. Your responsibilities will include:

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building strong, long-lasting relationships based on trust and mutual success.
    • Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and opportunities to tailor solutions that meet their needs.
    • Conduct regular meetings and check-ins to assess client satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.

    Value Creation:

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to deliver innovative solutions that add value to clients' businesses.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimisation to enhance the client experience and increase efficiency.
    • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations to help them optimise their payment strategies using our products to achieve their business goals.

    Revenue Growth and Retention:

    • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive transaction volume and revenue growth.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to expand the scope of services offered to clients and negotiate upsells.
    • Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to track client retention and take proactive measures to mitigate churn.

    Market Intelligence:

    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments that may impact clients' businesses or the payment landscape.
    • Leverage market insights to anticipate client needs and position the company as a trusted advisor and industry leader.

    Reporting and Analysis:

    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients, summarising account performance, trends, and opportunities.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of client data and transactional patterns to identify opportunities for optimisation and revenue growth.

    Reporting to: Head of Key Accounts

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • An entrepreneurial mind-set with a drive to succeed
    • Proven track record of success in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in account management (preferably with the fintech, tech or payments industry).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels of an organisation.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for value creation and revenue growth.
    • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving measurable outcomes.
    • Analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Fluency in Malay and/or Mandarin is desirable
