    About the Job

    In this position, you will be responsible for being the go-to person to identify gaps of Finance policies and providing technical accounting support to plants as and when is needed. The person will be working closely with the Regional Controlling Director in connecting with the Plant Controllers in addressing and reducing the gaps found across the region.

    Job Responsibilities:


    • Creating and ensuring the right internal control environment across sites in

    compliance with SOX requirements


    • Ensuring reconciliations quality through those audits, leading balance sheet and risk assessment reviews


    • Maintain an overview and control of the Risk Acceptance process, manage

    renewals or new submissions


    • Ensuring proper ownership between finance & operations for licenses and compliances across sites


    • Drives sustainable & continuous improvement in processes, simplification,

    and optimization across sites


    • Maintaining Statutory & Tax compliance calendar for all plants and working with Plant Controllers to ensure there are no delays in filings


    • Working with Legal and Corporate tax on Legal entity landscape and optimizations and maintenance, providing strategic inputs on any changes needed


    • Working with global Internal audit team in defining an optimized audit calendar each year, ensuring controllers are closing IA findings in a timely manner


    • Oversee along with treasury the cash flow management, dividend distribution compliances from a finance standpoint, tax implications if any, and bank signatory management


    • Handling ad-hoc matters/ projects assigned

    Job Requirements:


    • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Professional Certifications with strong working experience in a fast-paced Manufacturing industry


    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Accounting (including 3 years of experience in supervisory partnership) with SAP expertise


    • Possess strong IFRS/GAAP tax alongside SOX experience


    • A hands-on person with good flexibility and adaptability to change, plus strong mindset in self-starting and making positive changes


    • Able to work independently with an analytical mindset, and an excellent negotiation and solution-oriented skills


    • Able to communicate with a clear message across various levels be it internal or external
