    Forensic Accounting – Associate / Senior Associate / Assistant Manager / Manager

    We are currently seeking ambitious and qualified candidates with the following attributes to join our Malaysia office as an Associate / Senior Associate / Assistant Manager / Manager.

    The successful candidate will be seeking a career involving restructuring and insolvency (R&I) and forensic accounting and be able to demonstrate experience (commensurate with the applicable employment grade) with some or all of the following:

    • Technical knowledge of financial accounting practices;
    • Assessment and quantification of commercial damages;
    • Restructuring and insolvency knowledge;
    • Valuation and appraisal of business and/or assets;
    • Design and evaluation of financial models;
    • Provision of litigation support services, having worked closely with legal counsel, law enforcement officers and/or regulatory agencies; and
    • Assisting with internal and external financial investigations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, Law or other Business-related discipline preferred.
    • CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent. Consideration will also be given to part qualified candidates, with support given to complete the qualification process.
    • 4+ years relevant experience for the position of Assistant Manager and 2+ years relevant experience for the position of Associate.
    • Eager to learn and motivated to succeed.
    • Willing and able to work to tight deadlines.
    • Proficient in detailed financial and commercial analysis.
    • Proficient in Microsoft excel including advanced excel skills in financial modelling.
    • Self-motivated, proactive and mature.
    • Be able to work with different teams across offices.
    • Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
    • Strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin, including both technical and business writing, and the candidate will be expected to be proficient in report writing.
