- Drive revenue through increased room and event bookings, and monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer preferences for new revenue channels.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and event planners. Collaborate to create exclusive packages and offers.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and emerging trends, utilizing data-driven insights to adjust marketing strategies.
- Oversee creative marketing campaigns enhancing the hotel's brand awareness. Manage advertising, promotions, and public relations.
- Manage the resort's online presence, ensuring consistent branding and engaging content on the website, social media, and online travel agencies.
- Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with the events team to promote the resort as a premier event venue, identifying opportunities for conferences, weddings, and other functions.
- Develop and manage the business development and marketing budget, monitoring expenses and ROI for marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular reports to the executive team detailing marketing campaign effectiveness, revenue growth, and market trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in business development and marketing within the hospitality industry, with 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the resort and hospitality industry, market trends, and customer behavior.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans driving revenue growth.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting ideas and strategies.
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret market data, performance metrics, and customer insights.
- Innovative thinker capable of developing unique marketing campaigns in a competitive market.
