    Key Responsibilities

    Platform Architecture and Design:

    • Design and implement platform solutions to support the banking services infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with architects and other IT teams to ensure alignment with overall technology strategies.

    Infrastructure As Code (IaC)

    • Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC principles and tools.
    • Automate deployment processes to achieve scalability and repeatability.

    Cloud Services Management

    • Deploy, configure, and manage cloud-based services, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
    • Monitor and optimize cloud resources based on business needs.

    Platform Security

    • Implement security best practices for the platform, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability assessments.
    • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address and mitigate security risks.

    Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

    • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development and deployment processes.
    • Work closely with development teams to streamline the release cycle.

    Performance Monitoring And Optimization

    • Monitor platform performance and proactively identify areas for optimization.
    • Implement solutions to enhance platform reliability and responsiveness.

    Documentation

    • Maintain detailed documentation of platform configurations, processes, and procedures.
    • Create and update runbooks for troubleshooting and incident response.

    Collaboration And Support

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security, to address platform-related issues.
    • Provide technical support and expertise to resolve platform-related incidents.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
    • Strong knowledge of platform technologies, cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
