    Job Description

    Key responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned geographic area for power transmission and fluid power products.
    • Identify and qualify sales opportunities by prospecting new customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, including OEMs, distributors, contractors, and end-users, to promote brand loyalty and maximize sales opportunities.
    • Provide technical support and product training to customers, helping them understand product features, benefits, and applications to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, engineering, and customer service, to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
    • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and potential threats and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
    • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to customers, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantages of the company's products and solutions.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to close sales and achieve profitable business outcomes while adhering to company policies and guidelines.
    • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including sales pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to assess progress against targets and identify areas for improvement.
    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with key stakeholders, promote brand awareness, and generate leads for future business opportunities.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 8 years of work experience with a good 3-5 years in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably in a relevant industry.
    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Additional qualifications in sales or business administration are advantageous.
    • Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a high degree of initiative, accountability, and professionalism.
    • An excellent understanding of rubber products and industry especially the Malaysia market is a must.
    • Experience in driving sales for automotive aftermarket products will have an added advantage.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
