    To provide quality and efficient service to agents, brokers and customers, to formulate and implement strategies in order to increase market share and to achieve objectives for the business growth.

    Responsibilities :

    • Develop a plan for the acquisition and processing of all high importance partnerships and other external agents and delivers value to the product/solution development and sales channels .
    • Assist with planning and implementing strategies to build and retain high value intermediaries to achieve production sales .
    • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets for sales and expenses and managing of the budget .
    • Develops and implements continuous improvement actions and alternatives for customer service and support .
    • Ensure all compliance is adhered to in managing people and the provision of information, products and services to customers .
    • Understanding of QBE and own area of expertise to identify key relationships that should be initiated or improved to achieve positive results; communicate and exchange information with potential partner areas to clarify benefits and potential problems .
    • Develop strong relationships with the partners and other external agents in order to achieve high levels of commitment and participation in joint arrangements to maximize revenue growth .
    • Review existing portfolios and recommend strategies for penetrate growth .
    • Assess and recommend emerging partners or clients for suitability of incorporation into the business, in line with the collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders .
    • Support the launch of new products and services .
    • Motivate and develop the team by demonstrating good leadership behaviors and through the use of management best practice, to enable development of staff to support the achievement of business goals .
    • Providing expertise and mentoring to assist the team development

    Requirement :

    • 10+ years relevant experience in general servicing and underwriting with at least 5 years in managerial capacity .
    • Demonstrated planning, prioritization and organization skills .
    • Professional qualification in insurance or related disciplines or degree holder preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge of insurance sales/business development function.
