    About The Role

    Join the Global Legal Procurement team to support the Global Procurement teams globally in Indirect Spend (indirect purchasing) and Production Spend (direct purchasing). Opportunity to join and gain experience in the Group legal procurement team of a FTSE 10 company.

    This role is in general responsible for providing legal advice and support to the Reckitt business in relation to its global procurement contracting activities. The role includes supporting: (i) the Global Procurement Legal team (based in Amsterdam, Slough and Kuala Lumpur) (ii) the Global Procurement team responsible for Indirect Spend Supply (such as CAPEX, warehousing, energy and freight/logistics) predominately situated in Amsterdam and Slough and (iii) other strategic procurement and commercial arrangements. This role will report into the Global Legal Director, Global Procurement (based in Amsterdam)

    Your Responsibilities

    • Drafting, negotiating and supporting various procurement (indirect purchasing) agreements (including, supply agreements, confidentiality agreements, services agreements, CAPEX agreements, warehousing agreements, energy agreements freight/logistics agreements, etc), governed by English Law ;
    • Supporting large scale procurement/commercial activities and agreements including strategic advice;
    • Providing legal advice (including contract law, competition law, etc) on complex international commercial transactions;
    • Close collaboration with the Global Procurement team, various business teams, Global Legal Procurement team and other members of Reckitt Group Legal team (including Group Compliance, Global Innovation Legal, Patents Brand Protection teams etc)

    The Experience We're Looking For

    • Fluency in English, both oral and written - any additional languages would be advantageous;
    • UK Law degree and admission as a lawyer/solicitor in the UK (or similar common law jurisdiction);
    • 4-6 years post-qualification work experience in an international environment in private practice at a law firm and/or as an in-house lawyer in a multinational corporation or at an international business;
    • Experience in drafting procurement and other commercial agreements;
    • Excellent communication skills: written & oral;
    • Advanced computer skills: experience with contract management software; understanding of information systems.
