- Manage and maintain the full set of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against budgetary targets, and providing variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly payment schedule.
- Process invoices, debit notes, credit notes and dispute handling.
- Prepare and review petty cash, expenses claim, travel claims etc and prepare monthly and weekly cash flow forecast.
- Ensure intercompany transactions are properly taken in and reconciled.
- Liaise with operation team and other parties to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Other accounting related functions and ad hoc duties as assigned by superior
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent / professional qualification in accounting.
- English & Bahasa Malaysia (Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage).
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office and experience using accounting system.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge in accounting standards and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Team player and a meticulous individual with strong sense of responsibility and initiative, and able to lead the team.
