    Description

    Responsibilities:

    1. Responsible for handling full set accounts of the assignment companies. These may involve a thorough understanding of the accounting/financial reporting includes, budget, monthly financial report and maintain the effectiveness of accounting/financial system.
    2. Accountable for preparation and compilation of project development costs report and relevant financial reports.
    3. Accountable to carry out variance analysis, responsible for status update presentation as and when required for internal and external reporting purpose.
    4. Responsible to furnish, check and review the accuracy of tax return prepared by tax agent firm.
    5. Able to prepare the profit computation for property development companies;
    6. Able to verify or check on the project feasibility prepared by development team
    7. Able to manage or monitor the funding in order to have sufficient funds to pay off the third parties and to structure the funding within Group of companies.
    8. Ensure accounting records entered into accounting systems are in complies with company's policies, approved accounting standards and statutory requirements.
    9. Prepare bank reconciliation, intercompany, suppliers' and customers' reconciliation.
    10. Liaise with external parties such as Company Secretary, Tax Agents, Indirect Tax Custom, Bankers, Auditor for all the required statutory report.
    11. Preparation of weekly & monthly cash flow and monitor the fund available.
    12. Able to prepare tax estimation, liaise with tax authorities (i.e. IRB or Custom) for all the queries raised and ensure timely tax instalment payment.
    13. Liaise with internal parties to prepare / check the supplier's / contractor's payment.
    14. Undertakes any other tasks and assignments as directed by Management.

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree / Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent.
    • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in accounting function with 3 years in property development company or auditing in property industries.
    • Knowledge in accounting system especially IFCA, excel and words.
    • Knowledge in Financial Reporting Standards / Income Tax.
    • Independent and able to meet tight deadlines.
    • Good interaction skill with overseas personnel
