Description

Client Background:

Our client was established in 1982 in Malaysia. The company is involved in project execution, supply, installation, maintenance & other related works for industrial heating, ventilation, air-conditioning (HVAC), electrical supply system, utility process and cleanroom systems. Registered grade G7 company under the Construction Industry Development Board of Malaysia (CIDB) and MS ISO 9001:2015 certified company since 1996.

Industry: Main Contractor (Design & Build)

Location: Melaka

Headcount: 1

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM6,000 - RM8,000

Responsibilities:

Work with project team and involved in procurement, construction, commissioning etc.
Manage project execution at site for Mechanical or Electrical distribution system, HVAC, cleanroom, process utility system etc.
Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, procedures and requirements.
Liaise with client, consultant, sub-contractor, and relevant authorities to resolve technical issues.
Coordinate with sub-contractors for site survey, space management, site activities.
Perform interim progress claims, monitor progress payments and determine variation orders.
Attend SMBWA, toolbox meeting and design review meeting if required.
Update As-Built drawing and prepare handover documents.
Prepare Request for Information (RFI) on changes of specification.
Prepare technical presentation to clients.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering,
5 - 6 years in similar role with work experience in engineering or factory/warehouse building and construction works.
Candidate with experience in dealing with multi-discipline projects especially in HVAC and cleanroom projects will be prioritized.
Good knowledge in projects management in industrial projects.
Good in English and Bahasa Malaysia both in writing and communication. Proficient in Mandarin a must to liaise with mandarin speaking counterparts.
Computer literate and proficient in Ms. PowerPoint and Ms. Excel.
