    Description

    We're looking to hire a creative, analytical, and highly-driven Senior Digital Content Strategist to develop content strategies for various channels and platforms, define key messages and insights with proper understanding of digital performance metrics, and conduct qualitative content audits as well as gap analyses.

    From performing exhaustive research, to developing a 360° brand strategy and innovating compelling campaign approaches, an outstanding Senior Digital Content Strategist should be able to execute strong content planning, which includes content curation and research, that conforms to and sets out to achieve business goals. You should also be able to determine the best formats for various types of content, identify ways to increase brand awareness, analyse user engagement metrics and content sentiments, and demonstrate exceptional content presentation skills.

    Responsibilities:

    Leadership & Consultancy

    • Mentor and coach team members to ensure task completion, enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance.
    • Provide strategic counsel in content planning, development, and overall strategies for different projects including social media management, integrated digital campaigns, and other key initiatives.
    • Develop content governance guidelines for tone, style, and voice of all content, and ensure they are followed.

    Strategy and Analytics

    • Utilise data and insights to develop integrated content and digital strategies, creating specifications and content appropriate for brands and end users.
    • Analyse content marketing data to identify trends and anticipate consumer needs.
    • Perform extensive research to gain in-depth knowledge of all consumer personas.
    • Strategise content pillars, propositions and overall editorial strategy suitable across different digital platforms.
    • Conduct periodic content audits to ensure content strategy meets business objectives.
    • Devise and implement methods and systems to effectively measure, manage, and optimise content performance and ROI.

    Job Requirements:

    • Proven work experience as a Content Strategist, Content Manager, or similar roles in content strategy.
    • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, International Relations, or any other related field.
    • At least 4-5 year(s) of experience in related fields. Agency background is an advantage.
    • Strong digital-first mindset in content strategy and writing, with sound knowledge of using social media for business.
    • Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress, keyword research tools, search engine optimisation (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM).
    • Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing is preferred, knowledge in data and performance marketing will be of added value.
    • Impeccable command of English for writing and publishing. Proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia will be a huge plus.
    • Excellent analytical skills and strong content presentation skills.
    • Ability to guide and motivate team members, with demonstrated track record of managing a team in achieving its goals.
    • Outstanding collaborative ability, project management skills, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to engage, persuade, and advise various key stakeholders on content related subjects.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment.
    • Proactive, resourceful, innovative, analytical, and detail-oriented.
