JENIFER JESUDASS

I am Jenifer Jesudass, a dedicated lecturer and researcher with over a decade of experience in academia. My journey has spanned various roles, including ICT Tutor, Research Assistant, Journalist, and English cum Business Lecturer.

My research expertise encompasses two distinct yet complementary fields: structural linguistics and business-UX research.

In the realm of linguistics, I have conducted extensive research on structural linguistics in Malaysian spoken Tamil. This work has provided valuable insights into the unique noun structures and linguistic patterns within the Tamil-speaking community in Malaysia. My findings have contributed to a deeper understanding of how language evolves and adapts within diverse cultural contexts.

In the field of business and UX research, I have focused on user requirements for senior-friendly mobile health applications. This research is pivotal in designing digital solutions that cater to the needs of the elderly, ensuring that technology is accessible, user-friendly, and enhances their quality of life. By applying UX research methodologies, I have been able to bridge the gap between business objectives and user needs, ultimately helping digital businesses create more inclusive and effective products.

Additionally, I have assisted in various other research projects, such as:
- Advancing Technology in the Palm Oil Production Process for Oil Palm Smallholders in Malaysia: Bridging the gap between large plantations and small farms
- Instagram Marketing: Understanding the adoption factors for small and medium enterprises
- Health Literacy Level among Senior Citizens in Tertiary Hospital, Malaysia
- Knowledge Collaboration in the Malaysian Accounting Community: A case study of the community of practice.

I am proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Tamil, with expertise in research methodologies, statistical analysis, technical writing, data management, and classroom technology integration. My dedication to ethical research practices and continuous learning keeps me at the forefront of educational advancements.

As an English and Business Lecturer, I continue to inspire and educate students from diverse backgrounds, preparing them for future success.
