Mechanical Engineering Intern at MMC GAMUDA KVMRT (T) SDN BHD, May 2022 - Aug 2022

• Three-month internship programme under Design and Technical (D&T) department, working mainly on fire safety systems installed in underground train stations as part of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Line 2 (KV-MRT2) project.
• Took part in safety trainings for on-site work at construction sites.
• Exposed to building information modelling (BIM) software, Autodesk Navisworks.
• Assisted in as-built drawings using Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Assisted in preparation of operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals for fire safety systems.
• Assisted in preparation of documentation to be submitted to Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (BOMBA)
• Took part in site visits to witness first-hand fire safety inspections.

  • Maglev Wind Turbine Energy Harvester
    • Dissertation on proposed concept for magnetic levitation wind turbine. Involved use of Autodesk Inventor (CAD), Abaqus (CAE) and ANSYS Fluent (CFD).
  • Silent Airlifter
    • Final year group project on design and manufacture of silent aircraft for delivery purposes. In charge of compressed air propulsion subsystem for navigation of aircraft.
