Seleem Salleh

I am recent graduate of the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky, USA possessing a double degree in Business Administration (Concentration in Finance) & Accounting. I am currently seeking employment in the finance/investment industry as I am passionate about investments and hope to enhance and improve my skill set with any job opportunity whether it is at a mutual fund or investment bank. Analyzing potential investments and making sound investment decisions is something I am passionate to learn about.  Besides investments, my other interests include cooking Malaysian food such as the Chicken Rendang dish and playing tennis recreationally. Additionally, I have been part of my university's Men's tennis team since I enrolled in the spring of 2019, and have played college tennis competitively until my senior year. 

I have gained working experience in the asset management field during my internship at the Investment Specialist department of Maybank Asset Management in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I was heavily involved in preparing pitch decks and market updates for clients and salespeople along with researching annual reports and financial data of various companies. I also worked extensively on RFI documents which further helped my comprehension of investment processes and policies. 

In addition, I have also worked a part-time student job at the dining hall of the University of the Cumberlands. My responsibilities included engaging with customers systematically during high-volume, fast-paced operations, communicating with co-workers and management consistently and multitasking frequently to ensure seamless flow of service. In this job, I also frequently interacted with customers to ensure quality service is being provided. This has helped me gain customer confidence, loyalty and appreciation. 

I recently graduated from the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky, USA with a double degree in Business Administration (Concentration in Finance) & Accounting. I have studied 4 years at this university and have acquired skills and knowledge in several courses such as Investments, Advanced Financial Management, Advanced Spreadsheet Analysis, Advanced Financial Management, Cost Accounting and other business-related courses. My final CGPA is 3.97 and I have been on the Dean's list every semester.
