I am a 4th-year Actuary Student at UITM, characterized by being analytical and detail-oriented with a strong foundation in mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and risk assessment. My passion lies in insurance, financial analysis & investments, and data analysis. I am committed to applying my quantitative skills to drive informed decision-making and deliver accurate results. Currently seeking an internship opportunity, I am eager to gain practical experience and contribute meaningfully to the field of actuarial science. One significant highlight of my academic journey is my final year project, where I conducted a comparative analysis of forecasting models for the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) stock market price. Leveraging my expertise in R programming, I evaluated the performance of three forecasting methods: ARIMA, ARIMA-ANN (Artificial Neural Networks), and ARIMA-LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory). By utilizing historical data from Bursa Malaysia, I forecasted the KLCI stock market price for an impressive horizon of 10 years and 2 months ahead. The project allowed me to deepen my knowledge in financial time series analysis and machine learning techniques, demonstrating my ability to conduct independent research and make data-driven decisions. I am proud of the insights I gained through this project and look forward to applying my skills to real-world scenarios in my future career.

My Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science has provided me with a well-rounded skill set essential for success in the actuarial profession. The comprehensive program included various subjects, enabling me to develop basic coding skills and proficiency in utilizing important software tools like SPSS, MATLAB, R programming, Excel VBA, and C++. Moreover, the degree's recognition by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) further validates my academic preparation and commitment to pursuing a rewarding career in actuarial science.
