About Zhi Yin Beh:

I am a Computer Science student specializing in Data Science at Monash University, possessing a strong foundation in Python, R programming, and database management. My practical experience encompasses various database and programming projects, where I have refined my technical skills and problem-solving capabilities. I will intern from 15 November 2024 to 15 February 2025 (3 months) to gain valuable industry experience and enhance my professional skills.

Data Science Project: Creating, Populating, and Manipulating Databases - Pets First 

Skills: SQL, MongoDB

● Developed and managed the Pets First database, ensuring accurate recording of information 

● Executed SQL commands to book visits, record, and manage follow-up appointments, demonstrating advanced data manipulation skills.

 ● Created SQL queries and MongoDB commands to generate reports and analyze service charges

 

Data Science Project: Predictive Analytics and Clustering 

Skills: Python, SVM, k-means clustering, data wrangling, data visualization 

● Built and optimized SVM models for predictive analysis, evaluate, and compare predictive models. 

● Conducted k-means clustering and performed exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and segment datasets. 

● Cleaned and transformed data, and visualized insights using Python libraries
