    Responsibilities

  • Assist in trial planting plan, coordination and operation such as P&D management, data collection and sampling
  • Assist in seed treatments, sowing, monitoring & harvesting
  • Hand Pollination & Open Pollination
  • Assist with plant selection and development of planting and irrigation schedule
  • Visiting fields to collect samples
  • Packing seed & fresh product
  • Evaluation of the grow out test result
  • Fertiliser & Chemical Program
  • Quality control & post-harvest
    • Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Science, Agriculture or equivalent
  • Ability to work outside in (hot sunny day), stand, walk, kneel, and stoop for extend periods
  • Strong research, decision making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of English & Malay
