We are seeking a talented and analytical Commercial Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in driving business success through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

    Job Summary:

    As a Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing market trends, evaluating business performance, and providing valuable insights to support key commercial decisions. You will collaborate with various cross-functional teams to ensure that our products/services are positioned optimally, competitive pricing strategies are implemented, and revenue opportunities are maximized. Your expertise will be integral in identifying growth opportunities, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing overall profitability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Sales Performance Analysis:
    • Evaluate sales performance against targets and goals, identifying trends and potential issues, and making recommendations to improve sales effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to design and implement incentive programs that drive performance and enhance revenue generation.
    • Business Planning and Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the commercial leadership team to develop long-term business plans and strategies, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
    • Participate in strategic planning sessions and support the decision-making process with data-driven insights.
    • Market Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of market trends, industry competitors, and customer preferences to identify potential business opportunities and threats.
    • Provide actionable recommendations to support the development and execution of effective marketing and sales strategies.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or a related field.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data manipulation and modelling.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Google Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
    • Understanding of e-commerce metrics, KPIs, and online consumer behaviour.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey insights to stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and tools (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Lazada, Shopee etc.) is a plus.
    • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing principles is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with market research techniques and methodologies.
