About Our Client

Our client is a leading financial services group in the country with diversified businesses covering corporate banking, institutional banking, asset management, venture capital, securities, futures, corporate finance, advisory, etc. The business diversification and wide clientele segment have over the decades, enabled the corporation to invest in developing talent that are now assuming top positions in both the corporate sector across different industries. In view of their growth, they are now looking to build their corporate finance team under a very strong and stable leadership.

Job Description

Preparation of presentation documents, pitch decks and company propositions/proposals.
Build financial models with strong assumptions as part of mandate execution
Research, analysis, preparation of reports on industry sectors and corporations
Consolidation of documents for due diligence processes for mergers and acquisition mandates
Ascertain reasonable and consistency of corporate finance transaction with market-based principles and regulatory requirements
Providing due diligence and negotiation support
Identification of potential bidders and running a sales process
Able to solve problems or issues arising from jobs with minimal supervision from Team Leader
Provision of financial advice to the clients
Liaise with regulators on the processing of submissions relating to the jobs
Supervision and monitoring of progress of subordinates

The Successful Applicant

Degree and/or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business Studies from an institution by the recognized Government of Malaysia;
Minimum 3 years of working experience in corporate advisory/accounting/auditing/finance;
Designation and banding will be accorded based on overall level of experience
Experienced in the area of mergers and acquisition, listings, securities issues and corporate finance transactions is essential;
