  • Led the consolidation team to prepare monthly/quarterly group consolidated financial reports via the consolidation software for submission to Bursa Malaysia.
  • Prepare consolidated annual budgeted P&L, balance sheet and supporting schedules, including consolidation entries.
  • Prepare group closing instructions, plan and execute closing calendars for adherence by accountants and propose workarounds for clashes in the timeline.
  • Set/update group accounting policies based on changes in accounting standards and ensure adherence to group policies.
  • Attend to requests for group-wide financial information from regulators and shareholders.
  • Other ad-hoc exercises, e.g., process improvement, special projects requiring assessment on accounting treatment. about the manager/team Reporting to the GM of Consolidation & Reporting, you will be supported by a team of professional accountants.   • ACCA/ICAEW/MICPA/CIMA/CPA and MIA member.
  • Local Malaysian with 5 years of consolidation and bursa reporting experience.
