    Your responsibilities:

  • Global IT Projects. Participate in VMWare & Dell hardware infrastructure deployments across our global estate.
  • L3 operational support. Acting as an escalation point for our 2nd line operational support team. Capable of troubleshooting VMware hypervisor / hardware / configuration issues across all major Dell platforms. PowerEdge / VxRail / SC Compellent
  • On Call. Participate in the Data Centre teams On-Call rota, supporting the global storage and VMware infrastructure solutions.
  • Documentation. Capable of writing up comprehensive documentation to support our global site remediation projects.
  • On-Premise Data Centre Experience. Understanding of remote working and supporting data centres remotely
  • VMWare BAU operational administration. Offer guidance and knowledge sharing of VMware infrastructure

    • Requirements for the role:

  • VMWare certification to backup your VMware hypervisor knowledge.
  • Advanced knowledge with deploying, configuring & maintaining a global VMWare environment.
  • knowledge of implementing and troubleshooting hardware and associated OS for: Storage Array Network (SAN) especially SC compellent, VxRail or IBM iSeries.
  • ITIL knowledge and strong understanding of change management
  • Strong operational support background with 5+ years of real-world experience
  • Experience of working within a network security 'zero trust' Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
  • Previous on-prem physical data centre experience.
