    Job Description

  • Work closely with the business team to execute projects within timelines and budget.
  • Manage business team expectations with regular reporting and explanation of requirements of analysis, specification, design of projects on a technical and nontechnical basis.
  • Identify and manage project risk and maintain project plan – There will be a dedicated project manager assigned to the digital project supporting this role.
  • Manage external contractors and in-house staff to ensure they produce on deadline.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key contacts.
  • Work with project management team on improvements of digital systems.
  • Define and execute our digital strategy and solutions roadmap. This role will work closely with a cross-disciplinary team with a goal to drive digital adoption.
  • Continually drive products towards a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives and technical feasibility.
  • Identifying and defining business and operational KPIs that would help Digital RGE to achieve digital goals and objectives.
  • Recommending tools and platforms that would help implement the defined use cases.

    • Requirements

    To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Energy, drive and passion to work, and operate in a digital world.
  • Ability to operate in a start-up mentality and unstructured environment.
  • 10+ years of experience working in the technology domain / working as tech project manager – at-least 2+ years of experience in managing projects in digital technologies (mobile / web / cloud / new technologies like AI, ML, Blockchain or others).
  • Strong experience / knowledge of core backend applications like SAP.
  • Experience working with system integrators in outsourced/offshore model.
  • Some knowledge and exposure working cloud platforms.
  • Outstanding collaboration, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills in English a must. Bahasa and Mandarin knowledge will be advantageous.
  • Process manufacturing technology & system exposure for Pulp and Paper Manufacturing, Palm Oil refining and Viscose Fibre Manufacturing will be a bonus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in instrumentation engineering/Mechanical engineering/Chemical engineering/Software engineering.
