    About Our Client

    Our client is a well-regarded and established financial institution in Malaysia, known for its innovative approach and robust service delivery in the financial sector. They've been around for close to 30 years and are a stable and well-managed financial institution.

    Technical and Functional Experience Required

    We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with the following qualifications:

    • A Bachelors degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of three years in application development and backend technologies.
    • Proficiency in Python, Object-oriented Programming, WebApi, OAuth, and REST API.
    • Experience with database systems like MSSQL, Oracle, and familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
    • Previous operational experience in Financial Products, Services, or Banking is highly desirable.
    • Excellent understanding of HTTP/Status Codes and API design patterns.
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and a track record of quality work.
