    Description

    Entry Requirements:

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), or equivalent.
    • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
    • Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
    • Able to write reports and procedures.
    • Intermediate level with MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project to set up project plan and track progress.
    • Intermediate level with ACAD.
    • Able to work with minimum supervision.
    • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
    • Project management and supervision skills.
    • Decision making, Critical thinking ability and leadership skills.
    • Time management and organization skills.

    Job Description:

    • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
    • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
    • Determines project specifications by studying product/layout/machine design, managementâs requirements, and performance standards.
    • Completing technical studies by providing guidance on the design, calculation, installation and preparing cost estimation based on project basis including all utilities (mechanical/electrical/gas/chemical/civil).
    • Confirms product/layout/machine/new system performance by designing and conducting tests.
    • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
    • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
    • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
    • Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts. Minimal cost with best quality achievements.
    • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
    • Provide advice on project management best practices, keep update on technological/methodology and pricing advancements in engineering (mechanical/electrical/ gas/chemical/civil).
    • Cleanroom setup and practice experience.
    • Work closely with other team members to achieve individual and team goals. Provide coaching and support for team members handling multiple projects.
    • Benchmark / knowledge exchange with other offices, departments, manufacturers.
    • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with company regulations.
