    Boustead Geospatial Technologies (BGT) specialises in using inventive spatial thinking and best-of-breed software development to create new solutions that digitally reinvigorate industries, organisations and/or workflows.

    Founded in 2018, the company has quickly progressed from a start-up to a scale-up phase – to now have a team of dedicated staff operating across Australia, Singapore and Malaysia.

    About the Role

    We are looking for our Finance Manager In this pivotal role, you will oversee the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, developing, and implementing financial strategies, and providing insightful financial analysis to support informed decision-making across the company. You will be a key partner to senior management, playing a crucial role in driving profitability and sustainable growth.

    The role will be responsible for:

    • Leadership: fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment within BGT and the broader Boustead Geospatial Group
    • Financial Operations: overseeing all aspects of the financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for the BGT group.
    • Financial Strategy & Analysis: preparing and presenting financial reports and analysis to senior management and executive.
    • Compliance & Governance: ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance best practice.

    About You

    Please note that the successful incumbent will require a PCC.

    You will need to be an experienced and resilient finance professional, demonstrating an aptitude for continuous learning and development and a positive attitude. You will deliver client centric guidance and management through exceptional stakeholder engagement.

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (i.e. ACCA / CIMA)
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a finance leader in a commercial environment
    • Proven track record of success in leading and motivating a team
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficient in financial modelling and analysis tools using Excel
    • Deep understanding of accounting principles and best practice
    • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
    • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
    • Full permanent working rights in Malaysia
    • Ability to occasionally travel to Singapore and Australia as required
