DGP is a company headquartered in Singapore and London, first incorporated in Singapore in 2005. We have grown to establish our presence globally, with 16 branches spread throughout the world. DGP Logistics (Malaysia) is a rather young addition, being incorporated in Malaysia in 2018 We are a company specialising in the logistics of dangerous goods, We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations, ensuring efficient transportation and delivery of goods.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the sales and operations teams
Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and contracts
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
Ensure shipments are processed in a timely manner
Track and report shipment status
Coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure timely delivery of services
Maintain and update customer database
Assist in resolving customer inquiries and issues
Prepare and maintain reports for management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Proven experience in administrative or support roles, preferably in the logistics industry
Strong knowledge of logistics processes and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proficient in MS Office and logistics software
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm
Alternate Saturday, 9 am to 1 pm
*This is a permanent role
