    Hiring Alert - Senior Sales Support

    Who we are.

    House of Shipping provides business consultancy and advisory services for Shipping & Logistics companies. House of Shipping's commitment to their customers begins with developing an understanding of their business fundamentals.

    Currently House of Shipping is looking to identify a sales support professional for one of its clients.

    Job purpose

    The senior sales support staff member would be providing assistance to the sales team and ensuring the smooth functioning of sales operations.

    Main tasks and responsibilities

    • Support outdoor sales when they are on field/travel to Penang or Johor for sales coverage.
    • Attend customer's enquiries and assist outdoor sales Team's operations/customer issues.
    • Update sailing schedule to existing and send to potential customers.
    • Rates filling follow to expedite response time to customers when outdoor sales staff not available.
    • Assist Sales team in obtaining data for trade desk's requirement.
    • Coordinating between sales department with trade desk for updates.

    KPI

    • Assist outdoor sales reply to customer's enquiries within same working day.
    • Reduce and possibly eliminate customer complaints related to the Sales Department.
    • Gathered and supplied required data/information to update trade desk within given deadline.
    • Ensured rates filling within 4 hours (Time zone different) to secure booking.

    Background and experience

    • 2 years and above exposure in the sales department handling in rates enquiries, services and port pairs, handling and resolved customer complaints.

    Education requirements

    • SPM /' O' level
