    HUCKLEBERRY Food & Fare is a classic comfort food establishment located in WP Kuala Lumpur. They are known for their handcrafted, delicious-smelling, crusty gourmet breads which are made using purest ingredients and time-honoured recipes. In addition to breads, HUCKLEBERRY also offers a scrumptious selection of cakes, pastries, classic sandwiches, superfood salads, soups, and hot meals. They also take pride in serving high-quality coffee sourced directly from plantation owners. HUCKLEBERRY Food & Fare is a bright and airy country-style bakery that serves breakfast, lunch, and tea in a lovely corner lot in Plaza Damansara.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef Baker at HUCKLEBERRY Food & Fare in WP Kuala Lumpur. The Chef Baker will be responsible for hand shaping and baking a variety of gourmet breads daily, including the signature Miche Sourdough range made with sourdough starters. The Chef Baker will also create and prepare cakes, pastries, sandwiches, salads, soups, and hot meals from the kitchen. Attention to detail and adherence to time-honored recipes and techniques are essential for this role.

    Qualifications
    • Extensive experience in baking and bread making
    • Knowledge of sourdough starters and artisan breads
    • Ability to hand shape and bake a variety of gourmet breads
    • Experience in cake and pastry making
    • Knowledge of sandwich and salad preparation
    • Experience in soup and hot meal preparation
    • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
    • Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications
