    Unilever is currently hiring for Ice Cream Marketing Lead, Malaysia based in Unihome Malaysia Office for a 6 months contract.

    This is an exciting opportunity to lead and drive Unilever's growth engine into the future We're looking for a driven, proactive, creative and organized Marketing Manager who will be responsible for leading holistic marketing plan and strategy for the category, from planning until implementation in Malaysia across consumer-facing channels.

    Using breakthrough thinking and category, consumer, brand and customer understanding to create a clear and ambitious growth vision and strategy for the assigned portfolio. This is a role of high strategic importance for the assigned portfolio. You'll be part of the global marketing team working across a range of varied and exciting brand projects, from our big bang national advertising campaigns to building a standout brand experience across direct-to-consumer channels.

    What can you expect from the role?

  • Lead the marketing team in the development of the Brand Marketing Strategy and Plan.
  • Lead a multi-functional team to implement integrated plans in the marketplace OTIF and monitor the performance of the support plans.
  • Lead in innovation, activation, advertising, and promotion for the deployment of the Brand Marketing Plan and budget.
  • Analyze brand Profit and Loss (P&L) and drive the profitability of the brand (Topline, GM% and Bottomline).
  • Lead in on-going analysis and review of consumer, category, channel/customer, and competitive information as part of a situation assessment of brand performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Build productive working relationships with Customer Strategy & Planning, Customer Development/Sales, Consumer Market Insights, Global/Regional Category, Finance, R&D, Media & Digital, Legal & Regulatory, Supply Chain & Logistics, Customer Service, and Corporate Affairs & Communication to manage the brand's day-to-day operations, and external partners and agencies.
  • Support the creation of the National Category Building Plan based on viewing Category Strategy through the lens of the local market reality.
  • Provide input to volume forecasting, and financial updates and monitors key indicators and drivers of brand performance (6P – Proposition, Product, Packaging, Price, Place & Promotion). Recommend solutions and implement improvements to meet annual targets (Financial and Brand metrics including Market Shares, Penetration and Brand Equity/Health)
  • Involved in New Product Development launch management, building launch plans, customer sell-in and legal and regulatory issues.
  • Manage the assigned brand's new product launch assessment and deployment in the local market, including P&L, pricing, place and positioning.
  • As the brand custodian continuously build brand love and confidence among internal and external stakeholders.

  • Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent.
  • You possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in brand/product management/marketing, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
  • You are a well-rounded marketing individual with proven business leadership experience leading diverse multicultural teams.
  • You possess a good balance of strategic, analytical, and creative skills.
  • You are a digital expert, equipped with media savvy, particularly in digital marketing and know-how and have experience in leading compelling consumer communication.
  • You are knowledgeable in end-to-end marketing management with a proven track record of delivering topline and marketing KPIs (driving share and penetration) and have the ability to understand the big picture but are also comfortable with details and managing operations.
  • You possess strong entrepreneurship and a hunger for growth.
  • You possess a strong instinct for our consumers, and their dessert indulgence needs with demonstrated application in driving business.
  • Your ability to build strong relationships cross-category, cross-region, and cross-functional management; value trust and cultivated across teams.
