    Description

    Skills Sets Required:

    • Experience: 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in supply chain management, preferably within the aerospace domain.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and priorities.
    • Vendor Management: Familiarity with vendor identification processes, supplier assessment criteria, audits and qualification procedures.
    • Chronic supplier management: Demonstrated experience in managing underperforming suppliers, conducting rate readiness assessments, and leading supplier recovery efforts.
    • Risk Analysis: Proficient in conducting risk analysis and developing mitigation plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
    • Manufacturing Processes: Knowledgeable about various manufacturing processes and experienced in handling a wide range of commodities such machining, forgings, casting, and sheet metal.
    • Quality Systems: Understanding of quality systems such as AS9100/NADCAP and familiarity with APQP and PPAP systems.
    • Logistics: Understanding of standards and specifications for logistics, packaging and forwarding of materials.
    • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing a portfolio of suppliers in Asia region.
    • Monitoring supplier performance and providing regular management reports.
    • Developing new suppliers and improving current supplier performance in terms of Delivery and quality.
    • Conduct potential risk analysis and mitigate to avoid production disruption.
    • Resolving critical shortages impacting the build schedule and supporting resourcing plans to secure supply chain.
    • Conducting supplier assessments, audits and rationalization activities.
    • Input and analyze supplier capacity and capability information to management reports for onward submission to customer rate readiness.
    • Providing input to monthly management reviews regarding supplier status.
    • Support Work Transfer management (ToW) activities.
    • Maintain an awareness of any potential supply risks.
    • To prepare strategic supplier review presentations and conduct strategy reviews and business readiness reviews with leadership.
    • Ensure involvement in the introduction of new parts and identify any risks to the production plan.
    • Through supplier management activities, support Procurement exit strategies / introduction of new suppliers.
    • To develop long term supplier relationship.
