    Client Background: Hong Kong MNC company in financing non bank mortgage, asset management services

    Industry: Financial Services

    Location: Kuala Lumpur (Next to Monorail Station Bukit Nanas)

    Tenure: Permanent

    Salary: Basic Salary + Flexi Benefits

    Responsibilities:

    . Drafting diversified range of contracts and deeds including policies, resolutions, circular materials and various other agreements

    . Reviewing and vetting various types of agreements, deeds, policies, marketing collaterals and a range of other documents

    . Management of company secretarial matters and corporate governance work for our group of companies across different jurisdictions

    . General research on legal groundwork involving laws of the different jurisdictions where the business is located, and offering legal solutions

    . General legal & corporate advisory on a wide range of business matters including the potential risks and liabilities faced by the company

    . Management of all executed documents, correspondences and corporate records involving the internal business function

    . Collaborate and liaise with external parties from various jurisdictions (legal counsels, company secretaries, statutory bodies etc) and facilitate legal intermediary works in corporate transactions

    . Carrying out any other tasks as directed by the Senior Manager, Legal and Management team.

    . Internal and external communications as directed

    . Keeping track of contract deadlines and due dates of regulatory reporting, renewal of licenses, permits, trademarks etc

    . Engaging in business development activities

    . Maintenance of digital records of documents

    . Schedule meetings, taking notes and minuting such meetings

    . Perform general administrative duties

    . Various ad hoc assistance as and when required

    Requirements:

    . Minimum 6 years of corporate-legal practice experience AND legal in-house experience (Mortgage lending/asset management is an advantage).

    . Excellent strategic-critical thinking and legal reasoning skills.

    . Excellent drafting, vetting and researching skills.

    . Excellent written and oral communication skills with a good command in English

    . Flexible to cover both legal compliance and corporate secretarial/regulatory aspects of an expanding business environment.

    . Able to multi-task, manage competing priorities and possess problem-solving abilities.

    . Adaptable in a fast-paced business environment.

    . Organised and meticulous, good attention to details.

    . A team player, yet can work independently and proactively.

    . Driven, motivated, teachable and willing to learn.

    . IT literate and possess intermediate level skills in PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
