    Job Description

    Job Summary:

    The Distribution Network Manager is responsible to manage the fulfillment of Distribution Center by maintaining a DC Stocking Target (Days On Hand 'DOH' inventory level). Oversees the compliance of corporate guidance on the logistics of distribution network for the DC's,. Will work with applicable functions to deliver the products to the customers and/or DCs while aligning with internal departments on improvement opportunities, has a key participation coordinating the effort through all functional areas to eliminate backorder.

    The Distribution Network Superintendent will manage the staff resources to support each of the distribution centers, will implements a communication and KPI systems with all DC's manager.

    The Distribution Network Superintendent must analyze trends, identify opportunities, motivate and develop their staff to achieve the contribution to DC Stocking Target or direct customers.

    Participate on discussions, analysis, adaption, and implementation of new DCs and/or distribution strategies. Will collaborate with senior management to set Distribution policies and analyze KPI

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Allocate and managedepartment resources according to business needs
    • Ensure that all Distribution Centers maintain appropriate support from the Distribution Network team
    • Coordinate the effort through all functional areas to eliminate Backorder (BO)
    • Provide leadership and direction to the distribution network team
    • Maintain positive working relationship with DC managers, Sales, Customer Service & warehouse logistics
    • Responsible to implement KPI to track the level of services & performance of the Network Distribution Team
    • Analyze and generate monthly performance reports to DC, Operation & Corporate (KPI)
    • Monitor and adjust DC parametersstrategies to maintain de level of inventory based on DOH
    • Develop and analyze reports measuring and projecting distribution center network throughput and capacity
    • Collaborate with Distribution Center Managers to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the distribution network
    • Analyze reports which measure distribution lead time and lead time variability, collaborate with transportation teams to ensure key master data is accurate in planning systems
    • Optimize total distribution costs by analyzing and maintaining DC Stocking Area
    • Identify improvement opportunities for current processes and systems.
    • Support Corporate projects- develop the approach, communicate plans and tasks to divisional and global participants, manage project to timeline, and successfully achieve project goals
    • Analyze and generate monthly performance reports to DC Managers

    Minimum Qualifications

    Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

    • 3 or more years of related experience as superintendent on warehouse, distribution, fulfillment center, transportation logistics, or supply chain experience
    • Interpersonal skills – the ability to work well in a team, as well as to manage and motivate others
    • Ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solution
    • Logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
    • Strong analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data Well-developed organizational, priority management and planning skills
    • Flexible, creative and feels capable to implement innovative ideas
    • Focused on achieving business goals
    • Strong analytical background in creating and analyzing reporting trends and performance
    • Developing reports and analysis from large data sets using analytical and statistical tools
    • Highly analytical, high ethical standards, organized individual with ability to process details efficiently and accurately and exhibits excellent follow up
    • Highly adaptable, flexible and willing to accept new ideas, processes, and procedures
    • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation) with ability to communicate across all levels of the organization

    • Strong analytical and good decision-making skills;
    • Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills when utilizing Microsoft Office Professional products

    Education

    Bachelor's Degree

    Physical Requirements/Work Environment

    This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel may be necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver's license is required.
