As a recent graduate of Bachelor of Science with Hons in Instrumentation Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia, I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in the field of electronics and instrumentation. I have a strong interest in developing and testing innovative devices and systems that can improve the quality and efficiency of various applications and industries.
During my six-month research internship at Jeonbuk National University, I gained valuable hands-on experience in fabricating and characterizing a broad-spectrum photodiode, a device that can detect and convert light into electric current. I executed the photolithography process, handled various laboratory instruments and chemicals, collected, and analysed data, and identified trends and process improvements. I also demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills, as I reported and discussed my findings and recommendations with my supervisor and peers.
I am proficient in Arduino IDE, a software platform that enables me to program and control microcontrollers and sensors and create interactive electronic projects. I have used Arduino IDE to design and implement several projects, such as a smart parking system, a fire alarm system, and a temperature and humidity monitor. I enjoy learning new technologies and tools that can enhance my creativity and problem-solving abilities.

Experience
During my internship as a Research Assistant at the Semiconductor Physics Research Center, Jeonbuk National University in Jeonju, South Korea, I focused on photolithography and semiconductor physics. My primary project involved fabricating a wide-spectrum photodiode using thin film technology. The process encompassed various steps such as wafer cleaning, photo-resist coating, edge-bead removal, baking, etching, and developing, all executed through photolithography.
I engaged in thorough characterization of the fabricated devices, understanding their performance and properties. My role also entailed precise handling and calibration of laboratory instruments and chemicals to ensure accurate results. In addition, I actively collected and analyzed data, spotting trends and implementing process enhancements to boost overall efficiency and productivity.
For my internship project, I worked on GaN-based 2D/3D Hybrid Heterojunction Photodiodes utilizing PtSe2/PtTe2 2D Layered Transition Metal Dichalcogenides. This undertaking involved both fabricating and characterizing high-performance photodiodes to assess their electrical properties, switching behaviors, as well as responsivity and detectivity levels.
In summary, my internship experience was centered around photolithography and semiconductor research, where I not only learned hands-on techniques but also contributed to cutting-edge projects aimed at advancing the field of photodiode technology.
Education
The Bachelor of Science in Instrumentation Science is a 4-year program that covers a comprehensive range of subjects related to instrumentation, electronics, and technology.
