    Description
    Job Responsibilities

    You will be involved extensively and be responsible for the end-to-end software development lifecycle and support for L3 work transitioned from UOB Group. This includes analysis and design to development, implementation, testing and support. You will be expected to work with various stakeholders (including business analysts) to understand/define functional and non-functional requirements and provide technical solutions for the domain area of Payments, Real-Time Data Services and Open Banking APIs (PRO) - with main focus on the customer entitlement workflow and payments data repository.

    With a primary role as a member of theL3 support team, you willmainly beresponsible for day-to-day application stability & improvement activities aroundcode fixes within the PRO domain areaand working with other members of the team where required.You willalsopartner closely with the group domain team to plan and manage transitioned deliverablesofproject delivery/change requests.

    Other responsibilities include:

    • Act as point of contact for technical resolutionswhile managingthe incident,problem,and knowledge management processes for the applications in scope.
    • Where required, coordinate with3rd party product vendors and/orintegration partnersforapplication fixes,delivery and deployment of code fixes to meet the requiredquality,stability, performance & capacity.
    • Provide timely updates and report to management.
    • Work with stakeholders to manage and prioritize the overall book of workagainst the team's capacity.
    • Contribute tocontinuousimprovement initiatives relating to methods, tools, people, architecture, project management and governance.

    Job Requirements

    The ideal candidateshould havebroadexperience inoperatinglarge-scale and complexsolutions:

    • Strong communication skills to communicate with various stakeholders(both working level and management)across business and technical teams.
    • Prior experience in a highly secured environment (eg: financial services) withgood understanding on security and audits, encryption, 2FA or multi-factor authentication (MFA).
    • Experience in application development and operations of complex integratedapplicationsolutions (online and batch integrations):
    • Mandatory: RHEL (or other equivalent Linux distributions)
    • Mandatory: Modern Javamicroservice-based application development stack (Spring Boot, ORM Framework likeMyBatis)
    • Mandatory: Experience with database management systems (preferably Oracle)
    • Mandatory: Shell Scripting
    • Mandatory: Exposure to Typescript based front end technologies , Angular)
    1. Experience inJBossapplication server will be an added advantage.
    2. Experience with job scheduling frameworks such as Control M
    3. Experience inApache web server will be an added advantage.
    4. Experience in implementation of file conversion (eg: text to XML and vice-versa).
    5. Experience in Agile and DevOps practices will be an added advantage.
    6. Experience with monitoring tools such as Geneos, Splunk, and ELK is an advantage
    7. Domainknowledgeincorporate banking applicationand payments platform will be an added advantage.
