    Description

    We are looking for a Full Stack Developer, that would work in a DevOps setup on a number of projects & products.

    The position is anchored in ROCKWOOL Digital - Online Sales Digital Product Department - the department is responsible for delivering best value in web applications for our internal and external clients. The position is responsible for development of new solutions, refining specifications for best practices and common processes, designing, integrating and developing a sustainable group solution according the agreed enterprise architecture, coordinating contractors and other competences required, to test and roll out, to support and ensure continuous improvement to deliver agreed service levels and enable business benefits. Implement State Of The Art Processes, Develop Competences And Promote Right Attitude To Continuously Increase Delivered Quality And Value You will enable digitalization and performance of ROCKWOOL.

    The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of technology solutions by providing input into and delivering on solutions to business problems in partnership with their Product owners. This role will also responsible for partnering and delivering technology solutions on various platforms that enable ROCKWOOL digitalisation strategy, within agreed budget and service level, maintaining productive working relationships with vendors, improving the system at Enterprise Web Application standards and fostering a collaborative, success-oriented team environment where resources are empowered and accountable.

    The Full Stack Developer reports to Web Development Team Lead and serves in the specialist team.

    Key Responsibilities and Job Content

  • Developing and maintaining back-end and front-end applications.
  • Pro-actively recommend new solutions or technologies to improve digital platform quality and performance.
  • Implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with project/product managers, developers, testers and other stakeholders.
  • Designing, implementing and maintaining automated builds and deployment.
  • Coding features (data access, business logic and UI), fixing bugs and writing unit & integration tests.
  • Testing, deploying and documenting the applications.
  • Helping with production issues.
  • Knowledge sharing and conduct code reviews of other team members.

    • Professional Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Information technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time web development with Microsoft .Net, C#, MSSQL and front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Minimum 2 years with React, Redux, TypeScript, Sass, Webpack, Bootstrap.
  • Experience in planning, implementing or delivering application features based on full stack technology.
  • Experience with other technologies, preferably Java and/or Angular (nice to have).
  • Experience with version control (GIT) and REST APIs.
  • Different relational as well as NoSQL data stores (MongoDB).
  • Practical knowledge of cloud (Azure) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
  • Good knowledge of software design patterns.
  • Agile techniques focused on delivering high quality software including but not limited to Continues Integration, unit testing, Test-Driven Development, code reviews, design documentation, etc.
  • Working in an Agile (i.e. Scrum) team (nice to have).
  • Fluently communication in English (verbally and in writing).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to easily change direction based on lessons learnt or changed circumstances (adaptability).
  • Open mind and positive can-do attitude.
  • Initiative and ability to work without a close supervision.
  • Internal drive for technical excellence.
