    Description

    Job Responsibilities

      Contract Management:
    • Manage the Contract Management Secretariat, overseeing the organization and administration of procurement board meetings.
    • Coordinate and facilitate procurement board meetings, ensuring effective communication, and decision-making among board members.
    • Play a central role in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, minutes, and relevant documents, enhancing transparency and accountability in contract management.
    • Successfully improve and maintain internal control procedures through a streamlined process, enhancing operational efficiency and compliance.
    • Play a key role in the selection of contractors and the tender evaluation process, ensuring optimal supplier performance.
    • Actively contribute as a member of the Tender Evaluation Committee, influencing decisions to secure the best contracts.
    • Investigative Works/Auditing:
    • Conduct in-depth investigations into issues raised by the CEO, Tender Committee, and Quotation Committee. Investigations encompassed various aspects including specifications development, invitation selection, tender processes, and evaluation.
    • Deliver thorough analysis and reporting, aiding in decision-making and improving transparency and accountability.
    • Standard Bill of Quantities (BQ) Development:
    • Standardization of BQ based on industry-standard norms, to enhance the accuracy of tenders, reduce discrepancies, and improve cost estimations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying/Engineering or a related field.
    • Proven experience in a similar role in a project environment.
    • At least 7 years of experience in a functional or operational role and 3 years in a managerial role in a technical project environment.
    • Advanced MS Office Skills.
    • Fluent in both written and spoken English & Bahasa Melayu. Knowledge of written and spoken Mandarin would be an added advantage.
