    Description
    Inspector of Works – Signalling and Communications -(BIA00098E) Your Impact:

    Jacobs is looking for an Inspector of Works (Signalling and communications), to join one of our Double Track projects.The successful candidate will work as an integrated member of the project team and be based on site in Selangor/Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

    This role requires the successful candidate to:

    -Ensure that the Contractor's work is monitored and carried out in accordance with the drawings and specifications.

    -Supervise activities on site.

    -Contact the Resident Engineer when substandard works occur, or variation is required.

    -Check day work records of the Contractor keep daily site diaries and complete daily reports.

    -Assist RE/ARE systems in taking measurements and other details as may be necessary for progress payments, variation orders, changes, etc.

    -build a trusted relationship with the client and contractor's project team;

    -place an emphasis on safe working and a high quality of delivery;

    -Flag deviations when they occur;

    -attend site meetings if required
