    Description
    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer for a major on-Premise to Cloud Migration (Lift & Shift) project.
    Mandatory Skill-set
    • A Bachelors Degree with minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience;
    • Experience with DevOps frameworks, release engineering tactics, advanced test automation, infrastructure as code, self-healing, technical debt and toil elimination, and chaos engineering;
    • Demonstrated expertise in deploying and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across multiple Centers of Excellence ( CoE ) and agency DevOps environments;
    • Experience with container platforms ( Docker EE or Openshift ) and orchestration (Swarm, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes, or AWS Elastic Kubernetes);
    • Experience working with APIs to achieve automation and interoperability;
    • Proficiency in deploying and maintaining critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture, utilizing infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform) and configuration management;
    • Strong practical Linux- and Windows-based system administration skills in cloud or virtualization environments;
    • Proven experience in enhancing automation and fault tolerance in the deployment process;
    Desired Skill-set
    • Any relevant certifications in Azure / AWS / Kubernetes.
    Responsibilities
    • Accountable for On-premise to Cloud Migration by Lift & Shift, Cloud Re-Host/ Re-Platform & Modernization;
    • Leading the execution of the multi-cloud strategy, achieving milestones for cloud adoption aligned with the target Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set in Polaris and Tech strategies;
    • Designing the cloud implementation approach and technology;
    • Promoting and executing best cloud engineering and implementation approaches, collaborating with relevant parties to fulfill cloud engineering requirements;
    • Manage cloud solutions delivery risks, identifying and recommending risk mitigation solutions;
    • Managing prioritization decision-making and resource allocation to achieve optimal outcomes for cloud solution goals;
    • Drive long-term improvements in CoE and agency DevOps system availability by eliminating single points of failure.
