    Description
    As the DevOps Engineer, you will be a part of our Solutions team and responsible for deployment and monitoring of Vidispine (Broadcast Management Systems) software used by some of the largest broadcasters in worldwide. You will also take part in setting up and developing tools, procedures and pipelines used by our development teams to deliver and deploy applications and solutions for our customers, working alongside our teams as well as our customer's IT and business teams.

    You will be expected to understand the applications' technical architecture and support configuration and operation of the infrastructure they rely on (such as database, application servers, cloud envi-ronments). You will also diagnose symptoms, analyze root causes, and initiate preventative measures to avoid the possibility of incident reoccurrence. The ideal candidate is expected to take ownership and accountability of the performance and reliability of the services that the business manages.

    Responsibilities:
    • Implement and maintain the core business' infrastructure architecture.
    • Build automation frameworks for the deployment based on provided specification and man-age and monitor web-based business services and platforms.
    • Configuration and maintenance of complex test and integration environments, including third-party systems from the broadcast sector.
    • Work closely with internal product, development, and quality assurance teams.
    • Implementation/Deployment and maintenance of our Media Asset Management systems, in-cluding problem analysis, software updates, configuration changes, and day to day support.
    • Create and update system documentation.
    • Develop automated scripts for building development and production environments.
    • Create tools that improve developer capacity and productivity.
    • Test and support automated risk-management techniques.
    • Collaborate with the development teams in creating solutions for deploying and monitoring sites/software/applications.
    • Maintain constant communication with the IT department in the event of any issues with the business' sites/software/application.
    • Troubleshoot complex issues in a quick and effective manner. Assist in training of customer operational and technical staff.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project implementation and support processes.
    • Be part of an international and dynamic job environment.
    • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
    • Good experience working with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    • Good experience of virtualization and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
    • Good experience of using Helm for deployment into a Kubernetes cluster
    • Good understanding with PostGre databases.
    • Good experience with platforms and tools like Powershell, SQL, Microsoft Server environments, XML/XSL, APIs, and video codecs and formats is highly beneficial.
    • Good working experience using Orchestrator to design workflows will be prioritized.
    • Basic scripting, markup, or programming languages (Python, Bash, JavaScript, C#, SQL, XML/HTML, REST)
    • Ability to execute a fast and secure deployment process and CI / CD.
    • Good experience with infrastructure as code software tool (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, etc).
    • Good knowledge of high-availability approaches such as failover, load balancing, clustering, and risk-management.
    • Adept knowledge of IT security compliance.
    • Experience in agile software development after SCRUM / Kanban.
    • Strong team orientation, with resilience and commitment.
    • Ability to work independently (Self-Driven, focused, and analytic).
    • Flexible and willing to travel.
    • Strong customer orientation and great communication skills in English.
