    Description

    Business Development Manager - APAC - Pharmaceutical Equipment

    Our client is a European middle-size company manufacturing equipment used mostly by pharmaceutical companies worldwide.

    They recently opened an office in Kuala Lumpur and are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to cover the APAC region with a focus on Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and China.

    The new joiner will work in pairs with the Managing Director APAC.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Business development from scratch in the APAC region with a focus on Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and China;
    • Leading day-to-day direct sales operations on assigned markets;
    • Management and selection of distributors across the region;
    • Developing long term partnerships in order to increase the sales volume.

    Requirements:

    • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and sense of ownership;
    • Hunter mindset and willingness to open doors;
    • Experience in direct sales to pharmaceutical companies would be higly regarded;
    • Knowledge of the cold chain in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries would be a strong plus;
    • Ability to work in a small setup (for the time being);
    • Ability to work in an international environment with colleagues from a large range of cultures and backgrounds;
    • Ability to travel extensively +/- 30% of the time;
    • Perfect presentation skills and excellent commend of English;
    • Malay and Mandarin are necessary to liaise with clients in Malaysia, Indonesia, and China.
