    Description

    Job Description

    a) Responsibilities

    • Able to handle overall tax matters for property development.
    • Manage a portfolio of corporate tax, indirect tax, capital gain tax, and other related tax matters
    • Assist in enhancing tax awareness/ tax knowledge of business operating units' relevant personnel to ensure a high level of tax compliance resulting in improving tax reporting quality
    • Assist in preparing tax advisory on business transactions
    • Assist in reviewing corporate tax returns/ tax estimate
    • Assist in identifying tax planning opportunities by establishing close interaction with business operating units
    • Assist in identifying & highlighting tax risk issues and provide the necessary advice
    • Monitor and manage tax updates, laws & regulations, and share appropriate information with accountants
    • Maintain rapport with finance and business personnel as well as assisting in managing tax authorities (IRB & RMCD) queries, audits and investigations
    • Manage the administrative task, process, and system related to tax
    • Perform other assigned duties as & when required

    What we look for

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
    • At least 5 years (s) of relevant working experience in the related field
    • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent
    • Candidate with experience in taxation in the Property Development industry is a major advantage
